New maps

Post by OneManArmy » 10 Jul 2018

Vote for maps which you like (you can select multiple maps).
Note: At first play on all these maps and only then vote.
These maps were made by our community members (P3KK and killallhumans).

You can also participate in map creation.
Download latest version of map editor from here:

Hey OMA, i really enjoy the game but i think the maps are designed pretty poorly. They have so much open space, all the ojects feel way bigger than the player and the maps are just too big, i don't think they scale well. I think the maps should have small objects around to use for cover etc, not just big open space.
I think you should look at the cod 4 maps or csgo maps and try to get something like that.
I'd love to make maps but the editor is weird and i don't like it. Inverted mouse etc.
Sorry if it seems like a rant, i just want to help ^^
Ik it's probably not the most important thing as of now.

You are talking about all maps, or only about these maps?
And what you mean with "Inverted mouse"?

in the map editor if you move your mouse left it turns right.
I mean most maps, they don't have objects to cover you, it's too open.
I also think you should add leaning and strafe jumping, if you do try to improve the maps.
Also the new map arena 5 is way too big, the objects seem a lot bigger than the players (idk if it's just me)

in new map editor?
you are playing this game long time and you still don't understand why we have such maps (open maps)?
Arena 5 is more for performance tests.

On the arena maps you can get shot from too many angles in most positions, therefore everyone sticks to the outside of the map and people camp. I'm just not fond of the maps at all, i don't think they suit the gameplay.

I think the map editor was broken for me, i reinstalled and the inversion is no longer there.
Is there any way you can just make the maps another software? I like unreal engine but i guess that might not be usable.

3d artists/level designers use 3d modeling software like 3ds max.
In unity you can use ProBuilder for free:
