I don't think I'm the only one who thinks the DAO-12 and all the pistols except the Deagle are, at best, difficult to use:

DAO-12: Major recoil reduction. I don't want it to have the range and damage of the KSG, but with much less recoil it could be viable at close range.
KSG: Increase range to before patch 0.33.
USP and P99: Damage buff at very close range (<10 meters), or increase fire rate.
G22: Significantly decrease delay between bursts

I hope this will make a more fun game with a larger variety of viable weapons.

- yes, DAO has strong kick, but it is required for balance shotgun with fast fire rate.
If kick will be reduced, then i will have to reduce also fire rate.
- KSG - before v0.33 there was mistake (range was set higher then it should be).
- You think player must be able to shoot from pistols with higher rate, than most of rifles can? At this moment max fire rate is 120ms.
- Delay between bursts is 100ms. Basically 3 bullets x 60ms + 100ms = 280ms, what is faster than you can shoot from other pistols (and some rifles).

Also keep in mind that faster you shoot = higher bullet spread.
Instead of shooting faster, you should aim better.

I understand the pistols, but the DAO has high recoil AND low damage, such that no one uses it online. There is nowhere that a DAO would be better than, say, an AUG or a Vector. It's just not as good as the other weapons.

i agree, those weapons are very unbalanced
