I actually like the movement but the sliding one is kinda annoying IMO.
One more thing is the weapon weight, we need it.

But nobody forces you to slide.
"weapon weight" - for different movement speeds?

It feels quite fluid and i really like how its momentum based. I feel that if there was air strafing it would add a tiny bit more consistency to it though.

You can't air strafe in real life, or many shooter games. We used to have it in this game (when using Low Gravity + Double Jump), but it got removed for a reason (too easy to dodge bullets and jump around corners in mid air).
Sliding has a really good feel when you're doing it, but it is annoying to try to shoot at enemies that are sliding.
I know people have mentioned this before, but it feels like people are harder to shoot while they are in mid air, but it might just be bad aim
. It is on my "to test" list: to try to see whether hit boxes work consistently while moving through the air.
Otherwise I have no complaints about movement
OMA, what prompted you to ask this question?

You can air strafe though? Just not while sprinting. I haven't mastered it, but if you release sprint just before jumping you can awsd as much as you want to change the jump. Add a flick/sway jump for more effect. You can jump between levels on arena 1 of you do it right.
All that said, i think the movemovement is awesome. For the most part it feels very natural [to my playdate, not real world physics lol]

I don't think it's as pronounced as csgo's but it's possible.

Yeah, my bad. I forgot to clarify: you can air strafe while not sprinting, but I don't want it to be able to be done while sprinting.
